In what way did the Antifederalists criticize the Constitution?

The Federalists were the first political party in the United States, founded by Alexander Hamilton. Even though George Washington was sympathetic to the issues of the Federalists, John Adams remains the only Federalist to be the President. Anti-Federalists criticized the new American Constitution because they felt that in the way it was written, it gave too much power to the federal government and, therefore; would make the new country too much like the oppressive and taxing British government they broke away from.
