I'm not understanding how to identify the exact inverse solutions to trig functions, i.e taking the inverse of the function then adding or subtracting pi? Can anyone help clarify...Please. Super appreciate it.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

First thing to do is to find the period of that trig function. Then add integer multiples of the period to the inverse.

could you possibly show me an example of what your saying?
