factor each polynomial completely
32m^9+16m^5+24m^3
hello
They both have M so the outer part will also have an M, The GCF I can think of is: 32 --> 2 *4 * 4 16 = 4 * 2 * 2 24 = 2 * 3 * 4 I see they both have 4 so i'll use 4 ♦o♦ The GCF of the variable will always be the smallest value so m^3 Soh, 32m^9+16m^5+24m^3 / 4m^3 = 8m^6 + 4m^2 + 6 Basically the inverse of distributive property. So, 4m^3(8m^3 + 4m^2 + 6) = 32m^9+16m^5+24m^3 However, I could have also used 8 because 16/8 = 2 | 32/8 = 4 and 24 / 8 = 3
ok now i just have to solve ?
couldn't you divide 8m^6+4m^2+6 by 2?
It's already factored out using the GCF of 4 however I'd do it again using 8 because it's the GREATEST common factor ^_^ you this one as a guide if you please. Tag me if you still need help :>
And no. Because there's no point in doing that, it's irrelevant for what they're asking for
ok thank you
yw
Ah!! I see, when i did my short table, see how all 3 of them have 2's and 4's, 2*4 = 8 ^_^ that's their gcf. Use 8 and try it yourself :D
