I agree with dmytro1996. Industrialization often has incredibly nasty side effects on the environment. For example, to create the circuits and other electronic pieces that go into a Samsung or iPhone, the manufacturing process also produces toxic waste that has to go somewhere. Hopefully somewhere where it can be safely disposed of, though some companies have tried to take shortcuts by dumping it somewhere without thinking of the consequences. Also, as more "stuff" is created, older stuff has to go somewhere. Depending on how old your are, you might not even know that computers bought from places like Dell used to come with giant CRT monitors the size of small TVs. Where did they go? Probably a landfill.
