OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can the area of a circle ever equal the circumference of a circle? please Explain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would say no, for the same reason that 12 feet does not equal 12 dollars

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area is square units, like square feet or square inches diameter is a length, like feet or inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on the other hand as numbers with no units attached they could be the same for example they could both ge \(\pi\) but the area would be \(\pi\) square inches, whereas the diameter would just be \(\pi\) inches

Thank you for all the help! :)
