Which mixture can be classified as a solution A. liquid nitrogen B. air C. H2O D. fruit salad
c
thx
hey can u give me a medal
is that how you do it
how i do what
was the answer correct
give a metal im not sure haven't checked it yet
C is NOT the correct answer
what is it
is it a then because it has to be a liquid
I need to no before I press submit
it is NOT c - and solutions do not ned to be liquid - youj nreally should research before posting misleading answers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solution and horseygirly - it's KNOW not no
I was in a hurry
Science and physics is about precise communication(excuse my typos!) Twitter is for no
hahahahaha
sorry
The answer is in the wiki link above - under Gases Lots more fascinating stuff about solutions too!
thx
a might be
@rvc did you read the thread or the wiki link?
ALL of them MIGHT be , but only one of them IS
no
In chemistry, a solution is a homogeneous mixture composed of only one phase. In such a mixture, a solute is a substance dissolved in another substance, known as a solvent. The solvent does the dissolving. The solution more or less takes on the characteristics of the solvent including its phase, and the solvent is commonly the major fraction of the mixture Is Liquid Nitrogen or H2O a mixture?
yes
@MrNood
wat about u @Horseygirl23
yes they are both mixtures and thank you MrNood for the link im hoping that I get these questions right.
They are NOT mixtures
Nitrogen is an element (although as a gas or liquid it exists as molecules of N2) H2O is a compound - the elements are chemically bonded together to make molecules - not just MIXED. Fruit salad is a mixture but not a solution - can I be clearer than this?
thanks
thx I guess
