As the moon revolves around the Earth, it also rotates on its axis. Why is it that the the same side of the moon is always visible from Earth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a The Earth's gravity attracts one side of the moon more than the other. b That side of the moon only faces away from Earth during the daytime. c The speed of the moon's rotation keeps the same side always facing Earth.
