Write the equation for the horizontal line that contains point G(-8,8). (1 point) I need help and explanation! a. y=-8 b. x=8 c. y=1x + 8 d. y=8
Can you help?
Can you tell me what the horizontal line looks like? Draw a picture?
There isn't a picture or line to go with the problem.
What should I do?
can you draw the picture
Or can you tell me what a horizontal line is?
Why are you helping me if you don't no what that is? (not to be rude)
....I do, I want you to tell me. This is how you learn how to do the problem on your own.
It's a straight up and down line!
It is not, hence why I asked
Then left to right.
ok, let's start with reading this: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/graphlin3.htm
Ok!
I read it.
Check out the last example, based off of that, what do you think your eq is?
I think the answer is c. Am I right?
Tell me your reasoning first? before I say if it is right or wrong
Because I looked at the example and did what I tink was the right work and figured out that the point would have to be c for a slope and the other coordinate.
Did you look at the last example on p 3(the one linked to?) Also, what is the slope of a horizontal line?
