if a 10 ounces of fish cost $4.20, how much should 20 ounces cost? would my answer be=$8.80 or no if not how do I work it out to get my answer @agent0smith @katieeee @sourwing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

twenty it two times ten

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and two times \(\$4.20\) is \(\$8.40\)

OpenStudy (jazzyluvsu123):

Twenty it two times ten??? huh?

OpenStudy (jazzyluvsu123):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol typo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

twenty IS two times ten

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if ten ounces cost \(\$4.20\) then twenty ounces cost twice as much, i.e. \(2\times \$4.20=\$8.40\)

OpenStudy (jazzyluvsu123):

ok I got that answer thanks :) @satellite73
