While visiting an OpenStudy profile page- I just saw the weirdest thing...
I haven't been able to replicate on any other profile page, and even on adrynicoleb's page it fluctuates.
I'm wondering if they represent other undisclosed variables that OpenStudy uses to count SmartScores...
Such things have happened before, It is most likely a glitch with either the servers or the page failed to load properly. it happens from time to time :)
I know- though I'm wondering if they actually take those things in account, mentions, days logged in and long replied...
well, if you were wondering how smartscores really work: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4f8e1d22e4b000310fac92ff
Erm I've read that... it's just it's rather vauge...
I've seen users minipulate their SmartScore through mentioning others, so I'm wondering if the days logged in and long replies count as well :-)
hmm... yes, number of days logged on does play a factor, as well as how much one participates in a question post :) so like if you spend a long time explaining to someone how to do a problem and there are a lot of back and forth talking, then it would increase your score.
does that answer your question or no? :/
It wasn't really a question tho- and the long responses, I had no idea affected the score until I found that glitch
Whoa... creep much XP
