OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

The design stage of developing an accounting system should ensure the smooth implementation of the system. b. ensure the system is pleasing in appearance. c. analyze user information needs. d. ensure the system meets the users' needs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind go with B designs are suppose to be pleasing to the eye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I haven't soo .-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ma'am. I took personal finance.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty positive it's B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade and school are you in?

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

A computerized accounting system a. can be used to report only special reports that are too difficult to prepare manually. b. is used to enter only unique information. c. allows the generation of several types of reports to meet the needs of stakeholders. d. collects data which is retrieved to enter information.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

give me one second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hun, I think it might be D but I'm not 100% sure.

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

ok

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

i have three more questions

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

An advantage of using a computer system is a. the simultaneously updating of customer or vendor subsidiary ledgers. b. All of these choices are correct. c. not having to authorize transactions. d. not having to run several reports

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

First one is D; one designs the system to meet the users' needs. Second one is C; the computer system allows generation of many different types of reports.

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

have you taken accounting befor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4 are you sure it's C?

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

anyway do youknow what this is An advantage of using a computer system is a. the simultaneously updating of customer or vendor subsidiary ledgers. b. All of these choices are correct. c. not having to authorize transactions. d. not having to run several reports

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@Navy_wife1205 Let's examine the possibilities: a. can be used to report only special reports that are too difficult to prepare manually. b. is used to enter only unique information. c. allows the generation of several types of reports to meet the needs of stakeholders. d. collects data which is retrieved to enter information. A computer can be used to generate any sort of report, not only special ones that are too difficult to prepare manually. Scratch a. A computer is used to enter only unique information? Huh? Makes no sense, and you could just as well write down only unique information in a book. Scratch b. A computer collects data which is retrieved to enter information? Again, makes no sense. Scratch d. A computer allows generation of several types of reports to meet the needs of stakeholders? I'd pay money for that; wouldn't you?

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

yeah your right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah that's true. Good job

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

As for the third question: a. simultaneous updating of customer or vendor subsidiary ledgers. sounds like it might be a good thing b. all these choices are correct. well, we'll see c. not having to authorize transactions. Not sure what it means to authorize a transaction, or why a computer would eliminate the need. d. not having to run several reports. running lots of reports is something the computer is good at, and the harried accounting clerk, not so much. If I had to choose, I'd go with a. Fortunately, I don't have to choose, but there's my reasoning.

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

The subsidiary ledger that tracks customers is the accounts payable ledger. b. inventories ledger. c. accounts receivable ledger. d. general ledger.

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

that is the last question i have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D

OpenStudy (toxicsugar22):

thanks

You're welcome
