POETRY HELP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Squirrels

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to write a thesis about this poem for an essay (just a paragraph the esay really)

OpenStudy (squirrels):

So basically you want me to rewrite that poem in paragraph form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, no the thesis is only a sentence. it alays has been

OpenStudy (squirrels):

ah i see. So do you understand what the poem is about though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, do you?

OpenStudy (squirrels):

I believe it's about a student who was not cared for, living a lonely, dull life.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes kinda, but its actually abt the studetn whos pretty much careless and she's not really matured or whaterv which is wyh she doesnt care a lot and all that stuff and the whoever is speaking in the poem probably a teacher is disppoainted wit her

OpenStudy (squirrels):

I think you got you're thesis right there c;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no thats not really a thesis. here hold on. lets try this

OpenStudy (squirrels):

A thesis statement is a short statement that summarizes the main point or claim of an essay

OpenStudy (squirrels):

but ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now read this poem too, and can you help me write a thesis that talks about the attitude of both speaker in the poem towards their students)?

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Let me try, but last one cause i have to finish hw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, sorry

OpenStudy (squirrels):

your good c:

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Ok, so i believe that the teacher is trying to teach them more about the open world, how it will be in the future. Since the students are so young and innocent, they don't pay to much attention, which gets the teacher disappointing/frustrated. What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this a thesis i said? where you have to mention the attitude of the speaker towards his students? in both poems?

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Well a thesis statement is a short statement that summarizes the main point or claim of an essay. So basically just write what i said for both poems in a short sentence or two.

OpenStudy (squirrels):

For the first poem the speakers attitude is careless, and for the second poem the speaker is rather frustrated or disappointed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it has to be a comb of both, but its ok if you gota goits totally fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea but the question is HOW does the author convey the attitude, not what is the attidue, if you get the difference

OpenStudy (squirrels):

ah i see, im not really sure then, but yes i do have to finish up some hw. hope i helped a little (: if not then my apologizes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks anyways!

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Np C:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what hw do you have

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Just some history, i should be done in about half an hour or so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool. later!

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Lol Buh Bye!
