OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, how do you do this one (1+i)/(2-5i)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(1-3i) / (2+5i) Multiply top and bottom by (2-5i) You get (1-3i)(2-5i) ----> 2 - 11i + 15i^2 --------> 2 - 11i - 15 ----> -13 - 11i divided by (2+5i)(2-5i) ----> 4-(25)i^2 -----> 4 + 25 = 29 it comes out to (-13 - 11i) / 29
