OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok so hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am sorry itd been a while since i did that kind of area :/

@kayceejones1 Hey Fran! Can u help me? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welcome.. sorry again...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its all good @Missmad101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find the area of the trapezoid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

104? @Kamizamurai

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(8 + 25) * 29/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kamizamurai where did u get 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

32 - 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kayceejones1 r u stuck to lol??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no just working it out dont wanna give you the wrong anwser

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so confused..... why do u have to subtract 32-7............? :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kamizamurai

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have what i think it is lol what are you thinking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is 703.5 The figure can be broken down into a triangle and three rectangles The area of individual rectangles are as under: 1. 29 x 7 = 203 2. (29-13) x 8 = 128 3. {32-(7+8)} x (29-13) = 272 The area of the right angle triangle = 1/2 x 13 x {32-(8+7)} = 110.5 Summing up all the areas, we get 703.5 Can I get my medal please?!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kayceejones1 I honestly have no idea lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol give me a guess girl lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what a trapezoid is ?

OpenStudy (vivek3461):

|dw:1395237459894:dw| Total area = Area1 + Area2 + Area3 + Area4 = (7 x 29) + (8 x 16) + (16 x 17) + (1/2 x 17 x 13)
