@ganeshie8

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

first observation : its an absolute value function

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

if it is centered at (0, 0), then equation wud be simply : \(y = |x|\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

However, the graph is SHIFTED to left by 3 units, eh ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You would add 3?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yup ! so the equation wud be : \(y = |x+3|\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh ok! So it's b?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you add it to "x" cuz it shifted in x-direction

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

B is \(\large \color{red}{\checkmark}\)

Thank you so much!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
