In a circle, the circumference and diameter vary directly. Which of the following equations would allow you to find the diameter of a circle with a circumference of 154 if you know that in a second circle the diameter is 14 when the circumference is 44?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the diameter of the circle with a circumference of 154 then you would have to divide the circumference by pi. 154/3.14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the reason the circle with the diameter of 14 got the circumference of 44 was because they multiplied the diameter by pi. so that would be 14x3.14=44
