it was basically the way peasants were treated.

There were three classes in society-the first two were the rich and nobility and the final one was the peasants.

The peasants didn't get many equal rights and they had to pay more taxes than the first to classes above them

Since the peasants had to pay ore taxes they hardly had money so when the price of bread started rising (bread was the main thing they could afford), they got angry and rebelled
