like, the first one says exactly this, 1. What are the perimeter and area of a rectangle with a length of 20 in. and a width of 15 in.?

Well to find Area you use formula A = L x W which is A = 20 x 15 which equals A = 300

To find a perimeter, you use this formula:

Perimeter= Side1+Side2+Side3+Side4

Area=L*W

Then, you use the term sq. (square) or a^2 ( "a" holds for any number).

For example: A=2m*3m*=6m^2 or 6 sq. m
