help easy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

x(-xy^2 -2y)+ 4y^63 + 3

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

What is the degree and classification of the polynomial you got

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

The degree of a polynomial is the highest degree among all terms of the polynomial ex ; x²y² + xy² +1 degree=4

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

As for classification : A polynomial with 1 term is called monomial. A polynomial with 2 terms is called binomial. A polynomial with 3 terms is called trinomial. A polynomial with 4 terms or more is called polynomial.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

So that would be a polynomial and then it would have a degree of 4?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

The degree of your polynomial is not 4. I just gave that as an example.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

oh sorry its 63 XD

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Yep :)

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

can u help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Sure, post them separately though.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

okay :)
