What makes the armature in an electric motor rotate

The armature is mounted between two poles of a permanent magnet or electromagne.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since moving charges feels force in the magnetic field. and when current flows in the armature the coil opposite forces produces torque in the armature. thats why coil rotates.
