PLEASSEE HELLPP ME! ill give medals :) A population of 246 zinnias inhabit the foothills of Colorado, and has an annual population growth rate of 0.045%. According to the equation for doubling time, how long will it take for this population to double?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Are you sure the growth rate is 0.045%, and not 4.5%?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4 it says .045% in the book

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Okay, it's going to take a very long time for that population to double!

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

I'm curious how a population grows by 246 * 0.045/100 = 0.11 zinnias :-)
