If a mass is tripled, speed is halved and radius is doubled, what happens to the centripetal acceleration?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe acceleration would be \[\frac{ 1 }{ 8 }\] since ma=\[\frac{ mv ^{2} }{ r }\] Both sides should be equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the mass doesn't matter?? O.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah, because they will cancel out >.<

thanks!
