I am writing a paper with 2 other people. In MLA format the page number should have the last name of the author then the number, who's last name should I use, or should I not use a name?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Between 3 people include all 3, for all 3 of you are the authors, if you need a more descriptive answer just ask

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So just separate the last names by commas and but the page number, as if there was just one author?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or you could do such as (last name),(number,(Last name),number and so forth but make sure there are no errors or just to be safe do a little Rock paper scissors to see who gets to put name there ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good luck!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it still be MLA if I just did the page number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Usually u should include page number (i asked my freshman college brother) that i wasnt sure about but he said there should be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean if I were to not use the last names at all and just have the page number, would that be considered acceptable?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Um yeah actually go ahead and do that!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thatll work great!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
