The answer is d.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Hehehe, shortcuts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh well..I actually didn't want the answer I wanna know how to do it but okay ':D ha..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you divide x^2 -3x -28 by x+ 4. x +4 will be in your denominator. Therefore, plugging in -4 in the new function would give you an undefined answer.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

the discontinuities happen when the denominator equals 0.
