A dart is thrown at the square board below. A point is awarded if the dart hits the red area. Assume that every dart hits the board at some point, and that the point at which the dart hits is random, with each point having an equal probability. Use the relative area of the red square to the area of the entire board to find the probability that a thrown dart will hit the red square. (Note: the picture is not drawn to scale).
