2x^2 + 12x + 3 = 0 this is a quadratic equation, to find x intercepts you simply set the equation to 0 and solve for x as above, you can plug this into the quadratic equation to find the values of x, which are: x1=−3+(1/2(sqrt30)) x2=−3−(1/2(sqrt30))

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

y=2x^2+12x+3 x_intercect is the x values when y =0

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

let a=2 b=12 c=3 use the general formula \(\Huge\color{green}{x= \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac } }{2c}}\)
