Its obvious lol, if you plug in b in the left hand side of the equation they will always be the same.

I do sympathize @TaylorLeo1616 but this question is a bit on the side of "how the heck am I supposed to help without either giving away the answer or being blatantly obvious about it" Oh well... As long as it isn't a maths question that requires actual solving, then I suppose this could be allowed to pass ^_^
