Hey I am trying to go backwards on this problem. I have a number 33,276.15 and I have to put it in for l x w x h. Can anyone help?

OpenStudy (atlas):

Sry didn't get what your problem is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I have to some how divide that number into 3, which I got but only width and height are the same number. Length is supposed to be longer.

OpenStudy (atlas):

There will be multiple answers to this question unless you have some other information too

OpenStudy (atlas):

If you have only this info - assume width and height to be any two small numbers l = 33,276.15/(wXh)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to design a 3-D Polyhedral and show that I can prove that my dimensions are right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have 182 as one of my numbers and when I do that and multiply it by itself I get 33124. So then my other number which is length would be 152.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but length is supposed to be longer than the others. Shoot!

OpenStudy (atlas):

so choose a smaller number than 182

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about 160?

OpenStudy (atlas):

still smaller.............you have to choose a number whose cube is less than the number you got here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh Ok so then what about 140? It is a little smaller.

OpenStudy (atlas):

yeah that seems to be right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thank you

OpenStudy (atlas):

you are welcome
