Find c such that f0(c) = 0 and determine whether f(x) has a local extremum at x = c. f(x) = 1/(4x^2)-1 i need step by step help please

OpenStudy (atlas):

just substitute x =c and f(c) =0 in the above function and find c

OpenStudy (atlas):

Substituting x =c f(c) = 1/(4c^2)-1 now you know f(c) should be 0 so you can find c
