Just need to check my answer on this: What is the limit as x approaches 1 of (1/(x+1))? My answer is infinity. Is that correct? If not could someone explain to me what is the correct answer?

OpenStudy (phi):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow 1}\frac{ 1 }{ x+1 }\] as x gets close to 1, it looks like 1/(1+ (very close to 1) ) becomes 1/(very close to 2) i.e. 1/2

Ah I see thank you
