... I believe that you can write essays. This is Openstudy where you get feedback and help students. If a student needs help with an essay problem you're really going to tell them to close their question and fail because you don't feel like writing or helping them with an essay.... I didn't think so. If you don't want to help them with an essay question, then ignore the question and somebody else will help them.

Who said anything about writing it FOR them? Someone can still post their essay and ask for feedback and help on it.

Yes, but the point is that they should ask the specific thing that they need help with, for instance, "can you give me an idea for a topic," or just asking what the assignment instructions mean. My point is that they're not asking for that, they're asking for other to do their work for them.
