Step 1, make the top left equal to 1.
OpenStudy (timaashorty):
|dw:1395338240938:dw|
OpenStudy (timaashorty):
that's the equation
OpenStudy (anonymous):
first Multiply 2 in the LHS
and then take matrix other than X to the RHS
myininaya (myininaya):
is it suppose to be (2x+2)*A_1=A_2?
or is it 2x+2*A_1=A_2?

myininaya (myininaya):
I guess you mean 2x+2*A_1=A_2
because the other way I found there was no solution
myininaya (myininaya):
But that doesn't make sense either
OpenStudy (timaashorty):
im really confused
myininaya (myininaya):
is X a matrix too?
OpenStudy (timaashorty):
I don't think so

Is (2x+2) a scalar?
myininaya (myininaya):
by | | do you mean matrix or determinant of a matrix?
OpenStudy (timaashorty):
matrices
myininaya (myininaya):
I was asking if he meant (2x+2)A_1=A_2 but there is no solution there so i was thinking maybe he didn't mean that but I don't see another way to interpret this either unless X itself is a matrix or unless | | means the determinant of the matrix
