Suppose you are researching the eating habits of people your age. What sampling method could you use to find the percent of students in your grade who eat five servings of fruit and vegetables a day? What is an example of a survey question that does not have bias? I am not sure what sampling method to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe it is a systematic sample

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

I would choose "simple random sampling" or "cluster sampling"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but since the people are of my age as well as grade

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

In "simple random sampling" : u can randomly choose students in ur grade and survey them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

In "cluster sampling" : u can cluster students of ur grade based on school/region and choose few clusters, and then again use "simple random sampling" for each cluster

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

just my idea..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alrighty thank you for your input i appreciate it

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

np :)
