A second field, which measures 50 yards long and 20 yards wide, also needs grass seed planted. How much will it cost to plant grass seed on the second field, in dollars?

is the answer 200 dollars?

It's important that you show your work. I'm far more interested in how you got your answer than I am in the answer itself. From the figures for the first field, we can calculate how much it costs to plant one square yard of grass seed. Then multiply the area of the 2nd field by the cost per square yard.
