If you were told that you put $1000 into a savings account with 3.5% simple interest for 7 years, how much interest would you earn? I = Prt I = (1000)⋅(0.035)⋅(7) I = 245.00 So you earned $245.00 in interest. Why do you not have 3.5% in your equation? A. You have to change the decimal to a percent. B. You have to change the percent to a decimal. C. It's imaginary. D. That's information I don't need to use.
