What is the slope of the line passing through points A and B? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/213000_213500/213128/1/bb67f52af7a1f8a2d7a9040e4f8f2033cda0b519/VHS_ALG_L2_S1_07_15_UT_11.gif A. 4 B. -4 C. -1/4 D. 1/4

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

a = (0.1) b = (4,2) use the slope formula : slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) (0,1) x1 = 0 and y1 = 1 (4,2) x2 = 4 and y2 = 2 now we sub slope = (2 - 1) / (4 - 0) slope = 1/4 any questions ?
