I need help Please just one question What is the ordered pair for the equation y = -3x - 2 if x = 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you substitute x=0 for x in your equation, you get y=-2. the ordered pair would be (0, -2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much so what your saying is you substitute x with in this case zero to help gt y and the x coordinate is also 0 ? P.s how do you medal i would like to give you one but how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep! so ordered pairs are the coordinates of a point, and are defined as (x, y). so if x=0, then the x-value of the coordinate is (0,y). medals are the "best response button" :)

ohh cool thanks so much
