The Test Ban Treaty was implimented in order to stop or slow non-nuke countries from developing
atomic bombs.
This didn't work as Israel, India, Pakistan, N. Korea, and all too soon Iran will get the Bomb!

i thought that the United States, Soviet Union and Great Britain signed the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, which prohibited the testing of nuclear weapons in outer space, underwater or in the atmosphere.
