If a car costs 3000$ dollars and you spend 28$ how much money do you have left to pay off?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Spend $28 on things other than the car? Or the car..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is there a question mark in your equation?

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

Good question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have $28.00 but you have to pay off $3,000.00. You subtract 3000-28

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

The question doesn't make much sense.. You'd do 3000-28... But if it wasn't payment for the car it would be 3000+28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you subtract 3000-28. It gives you the rest of the amount that you have to pay off.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for the answer I was really needing the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2972

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. But don't forget your dollar sign.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

$2,972
