yeah basically shakespear wanted to prove that the characters were in just a much crisis as in real life cuz at the time of this story his "coloney" was at war with the french. an also they tried to make the characters be the real life senario so all the problems they had they made it into a play so that way the couldn't be exacuted..the did it so called "legally" hope this helps!
