A triangle cannot have two right angles. Suppose a triangle had two right angles. Am i right in saying : Then the sum of the two angles would excited 180º And that contradicts the fact the a triangle can only have a sum of angles that is equal to 180º Therefore the triangle can not have two right angles.

Yes you are absolutely right. And by "excited", i was hoping you meant to type exceed. :)

Oops... your right. Thanks so much for the help :0)

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

hmm well ,is it school geometry ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is :0)

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

couse the proof of the triangle must not have two right angels in normal plane ( eclidean geometry is a bit different :o) but since ur in school i would say its ok :P good luck !
