OpenStudy (ikram002p):

since y is the Hypotenuse then it should be the biggest side in the triangle |dw:1395432110810:dw|

OpenStudy (issy14):

|dw:1395432800889:dw| sin30=opp/h tan60=opp/ adj sin30=6/h tan60=x/6 h=6/sin30 x=6tan60 h=12 x=10.93

OpenStudy (issy14):

sorry the last one is 10.39 not 93 = 6 square root 3

So would the answer be D?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

Issy there is no need for all of this , just look at the option as i said before y is the Hypotenuse then it should be the biggest side in the triangle y>z y>x try to find the option that gives u y>z

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

and @malehuman01 ur correct !

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

@Issy14 we dnt know if the sketch is done by scalor so we cant assume which angle are 30 or 60 :o

OpenStudy (issy14):

I know that there is no need for it, but i know that most likely she will be seeing the same thing again, therefore, the equations might come in handy. Now the drawing is not drawn to scale but it's evident which angle is bigger than the other one.

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

well , u cant make sure of that ;)
