Triangle XYZ has been dilated to form triangle LMN. What is the least amount of information needed to prove the two triangles are similar? Two pairs of corresponding angles and one pair of corresponding sides Two pairs of corresponding sides and one pair of corresponding angles Two pairs of corresponding angles Two pairs of corresponding sides
@jigglypuff314 help
If 2 corresponding angles are equal the 3rd pair has to be equal as well thus all the angles are the same and the 2 triangles are similar
The First one?
Did I say a word about sides?
No
So its the second one
Is that right jigglypuff?
@jigglypuff314 is that right?
I thought it was AA postulate @BangkokGarrett
Last question
ooops .. yeah.. not the 2nd one. the 3rd one matches up to what i was talking about. sorry
Oh I get it thanks
Can u guys help me with the last one I posted
dilation : when a figure is made larger or smaller AA : when there are two corresponding congruent angles corresponding parts: located in the same position similar: has same shape but is different sized scale model: a copy that can be larger or smaller
B A E C D
yep :)
Thanks
you're welcome :)
