f'(x) is 3(x-1)^2 find intetrvals on which functions is increasing or decreasing

OpenStudy (raden):

hint : f' > 0 for the the function is increasing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i got that part but what i find the x numbers is .5+-0.8 so what part will be increasing or decreasing

OpenStudy (raden):

f '(x) is like quadratic where the value of graph of f' always be positive, so its kind is increasing, no even decreasing for this case.
