If sin Θ =\[-\frac{\sqrt{3} }{ 2} and \pi <\theta <3\pi/2\] what are the values of cos Θ and tan Θ?
cos^2 x = 1 - sin^2 x= 1 - 3/4 = 1/4-> cos x = -1/2 tan x = sin x/cos x = (-3/2)*(-2/1) = 3
Wouldn't it be sqrt3?
@thu1935
