In The Odyssey. After Odysseus left Calypso, where did he go? did he go and fight the city of Troy?

Odysseus did fight in Troy but that was before he left Calypso's island. Once he leaves the island, he goes back to his original destination after Troy: Ithaca. On the way there he reaches the island of the Phaecians who give him a boat to get back home. It is there where he is finally reunited with his son and wife.
