You don't have to give me a straight up answer if you don't want to, an explanation/walkthrough would be just as appreciated.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Substitute x=3pi/2 into 2sin^2x-sinx-1 to see if the equality holds.

This is a rather difficult question, I am not partial to the method that teachers use now days for solving problems such as this. My method will get you the same answer but in a considerably less confusing way. For this question we will have to use Imaginary numbers, eleventeen and fortytwelve, I think, you must take the first number and put it over eleventeen then put fortytwelve oer the second number. Next you must cross multiply the resulting fractions and put that number next to the variable X. This will give you the answer you seek.|dw:1395453587708:dw|
