OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

WILL MEDAL!!! ∆ABC is similar to ∆XYZ. What is the length of YZ ?

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

|dw:1395418025975:dw|

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

YZ/BC = XY/AB

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

multiply 5 x 3 ......since AB = 2cm , and XY = 6cm, you must multiply 2 x 3 to get 6 , so..

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

I dont get it

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

look at the bottom of both triangles -- notice that AB = 2cm ,and XY =6cm - following me?

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

ok.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Just follow the thing I wrote

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

>.< - you must multiply 2cm by 3 to get 6 -and since they are similar, do the same to 5cm - multiply 5 x 3

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

Still having problems - or no?

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

no thanks :D

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

I'm assuming you got it? - you're welcome :3

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

... oh wait.. no I don't get it :(.. I thought I did..

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):

OH I had to read ur ecquation.... well I read it but not carfully.. ok I get it :D :D :D lol thxxx

OpenStudy (rebeccapink6398):
