start with tan A = 15 / 7 then take the inverse tan of both sides tan -1 (tan A) = tan -1 (15 / 7) A = tan -1 (15 / 7) tan -1 is an inverse tan. you know how to do that on your calculator?

use your calculator to find the angle whose tangent is 2.1429 to get a pretty accurate value
