PLEASE HELP!! the inertia of a 20 cent coin can be demonstrated by placing it on a playing card on top of a glass. when the card is given a sudden flick with a finger, as the card is propelled across the room, the coin drops into the bottom of the glass. explain the behavior of both the card and the coin, before and after the flick, using newton's laws of motion.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

The coin was initially at rest. When card is given sudden flick, the coin does not move due to inertia of rest. So it falls into the glass.
